Our short runs are an affordable, low-risk space for artists looking for a space to try things out. They’re made for light-touch, agile shows that are mainly looking to experiment, or meet and audience for the first time.

We programme short runs of 1 to 5 performances on a rolling basis. Hire of the Theatre for a one hour performance slot is £75 – and you keep 100% of your box office. We’re open to hires for all sorts of work, including but not limited to comedy, works-in-progress, clown, small scale theatre, music, magic, spoken word and more.

The Theatre can seat 50 people, and has a full lighting rig, sound system, and projector. Staff on site will be able to set up a lighting state for you, but you’ll need to run your own tech for anything more complex than that.

The Theatre is available for performances Monday to Sunday, excluding Tuesdays. We offer three slots: 5:30pm, 8:30pm show, and 10:00pm show (Fridays and Saturdays). Slots last 1 hour, with 15 minutes for get-in and get-out.

Key Info:

• You keep 100% of box office.
• Your slot is 60 minutes long. You have 15 minutes for get in and get out.
• You won’t have access to the venue outside of these times, unless you’ve booked.
• There will be a show immediately before and immediately after you.
• There is no storage at the venue under any circumstances.
• You may be performing on top of the set for your week’s headline show.
• You are solely responsible for marketing your show.
• We can turn on lights, mics, and projectors. For any other tech, you’ll need to bring a technician.

Access Notes:
The Theatre is not wheelchair accessible. There is a staircase of 15 steps with a handrail on the left (descending). There is an accessible bathroom on the street level.
